History
The 8.8 cm Flak 36, known as the "88," was a versatile and iconic German artillery piece of World War II. Introduced in 1936 as an anti-aircraft gun, it excelled in roles such as anti-tank and field artillery due to its accuracy, range, and firepower. Mounted on a split-trail carriage for 360-degree traverse, it could engage aircraft and heavily armored tanks like the Soviet T-34. With a range of 14,860 meters and an altitude reach of 10,600 meters, it was highly effective and quick to deploy via its four-wheeled trailer.
The Flak 36 became legendary in battles like the North African Campaign and on the Eastern Front, proving instrumental against Allied and Soviet forces. Equipped with a removable shield for crew protection, it combined mobility and resilience. This weapon symbolizes German engineering prowess and remains a focus of military history and restoration efforts.

This Flak 36 design is amazing. I think the simple building techniques allows the shape and angle to form perfectly for this piece. It’s great that you can position the flak in your own way, which definitely adds to the value of it. Overall very good and would recommend!
