History
The M4A2 Sherman was a widely produced variant of theAmerican M4 Sherman medium tank and played a significant role in Allied armored operations during theSecond World War. Powered by a twin diesel engine, theM4A2 was particularly valued by Allied nations receivingtanks through the Lend-Lease program, including the SovietUnion, where it earned a reputation for reliability and ease ofmaintenance.
